Transfer Site Information

All Elk Island Public Schools Transfer Sites are considered secure sites. To enhance student safety, Student Transportation does not allow student pick ups within the transfer. If it is an emergency and you must pick up your child, they will need to meet their parent or guardian at the front door of the transfer site school. 

Prior to going to the transfer site to pick up your child(ren), please contact Student Transportation at 780-417-8151.  This will allow our office to notify the bus driver and Safety Monitors of the change.

Salisbury Transfer

The transfer site at Salisbury High School is equipped with seven safety monitors to assist students in finding their assigned bus. Buses are clearly numbered and are always parked in the same location. Concrete blocks painted with different patterns (butterflies, watermelons, etc.) are used to mark each parking stall so young students are able to easily identify the right bus to get on.

SouthPointe Transfer

The transfer site at SouthPointe School is equipped with three safety monitors to assist students in finding their assigned bus. Buses are clearly numbered and are always parked in the same location.
