Important Dates
The EIPS 2025-26 school year calendar outlines important dates during the school year including: school-closure dates; holidays; dates for the winter, spring, and summer breaks; the first and last days of classes; professional learning days; and early dismissal dates.

School Supplies

Refer to your child's school website for the specific supply list for your child's school and grade.
Kindergarten
Is your child starting kindergarten this fall? If so, we encourage you to refer to the kindergarten toolkit, an online resource offering valuable tips and insight on what to expect in kindergarten and how to prepare your child.
Is your child turning five on or before Dec. 31, 2025? If so, there’s still time to register for kindergarten. Simply complete the online registration form.
Student Transportation
Find information about registering for busing services, transportation fees, paying fees online and the Little Elk Island Adventure for first-time bus riders. EIPS offers a wide variety of programming options. In addition to numerous option classes and school clubs, the Division offers:

Parent involvement is a key component in the success of a child's education. If you are a parent or caregiver of an EIPS student, there are many ways you can get involved in your school community such as joining your school’s School Council, volunteering at your child’s school, and by staying in touch with your child’s teacher.
