Student Account Management
When students first enrol with the Division, they are provided with an EIPS account to use throughout their time with the Division—until graduation or they transfer out of EIPS. The account is the property of EIPS, and the associated email address should not be used for setting up personal accounts on other systems, such as gaming or other platforms.
Annual Deactivation of Student Accounts
Each summer, EIPS deactivates any accounts for students who graduated from or transferred out of the Division in the previous school year. Once these accounts are deactivated, the email address is unavailable for students to use when logging into any systems it's been associated with—internal or external—and it's not accessible for password resets or updating account settings for any platforms.
Students leaving the Division must ensure they download and save to a personal account any information they want to retain from their school cloud accounts before the end of June each year.
- Google account – Students must download any wanted content either individually or in bulk using Google Takeout.
- Microsoft account – Students must also download any wanted content from their OneDrive account.
Student Account Access Issues for Current Students
Students unable to access their EIPS account or unsure of their username or password should contact their school's front office staff for support.
