Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) is one of Alberta's largest school divisions, serving approximately 17,950 students in 43 schools. Every day, the staff and students of EIPS are encouraged to pursue opportunities to grow and discover their passions in life. Our schools are located just east of the Alberta Capital Region, in both urban and rural areas including:

EIPS employs approximately 875 full-time equivalent teaching staff—including specialists in French Immersion, culinary arts, mechanics, early learning, drama and fine arts, and other career and technology studies areas—and 560 full-time equivalent non-teaching staff—including school staff, facility maintenance staff, systems analysts, human resource staff, accountants, communications professionals, administrative personnel and more.
