Forest Grove School
The province has approved funding for a replacement school in Sherwood Park—a new elementary-junior high school, replacing École Campbelltown and Sherwood Heights Junior High. The expected completion date is sometime in the 2026-27 school year. Read more

EIPS Transition Planning Engagement
EIPS has developed a transition plan for students impacted by the decision to relocate the senior high French Immersion program and balance senior high enrolment in Sherwood Park. Throughout 2024-25, several consultation phases were conducted to ensure a smooth and successful transition for everyone involved. Read more

Recognizing the vital roles families play in education is foundational to everything EIPS does. Divisionwide, parents and caregivers are regarded as children’s first teachers and key influencers in shaping learning attitudes. Their involvement in EIPS schools is continually encouraged, and, their contributions make schools better places to learn and grow. As such, the Division is committed to nurturing a collaborative approach with school families and working together to ultimately improve student achievement and success. Read more

As such, all EIPS consultations are guided by the Division’s Public Engagement Strategy—grounded in the International Association for Public Participation practices and provides directions and alignment between the work of the Board, the Superintendent and staff.
