Bus Passes

Elk Island Public Schools Student Transportation buses over 10,000 students throughout the Division. Each student is given a bus pass that will allow parents to monitor their child's location and Student Transportation to ensure all students arrive at their destination safely. This is why it is important for students to always carry their bus pass and scan on and off every time they ride. These passes do not contain any personal information but are linked to your child's My Ride K-12 account.
How to Understand Your Bus Pass

The bus pass shows the bus numbers that the student will ride in the morning and afternoon. Try comparing your child's bus pass to their My Ride K-12 schedule to gain a better understanding of how the bus pass is laid out

The student's first bus in the morning is shown in the top A.M. row on the left and continues to the right, depending on if the student transfers buses. Afternoon buses are also shown in order from left to right on the P.M. row. The last bus that a student rides before home will always show in the third P.M box, so if a student is on a direct bus, there will only be a bus listed in the last box.

If a student is accessing busing from multiple addresses, the second schedule will show in the Supplemental A.M. and P.M. rows.
