Thank you to everyone who attended last night’s public engagement session about how best to manage the student growth and enrolment pressures at James Mowat Elementary. As you know, the Division’s consulting with school families to develop a community-supported solution.

If you couldn’t make the meeting, that’s OK. You can still submit input by completing the online Enrolment Pressures Survey. The survey is anonymous and takes about five minutes to complete.

Once all the feedback’s submitted, Y Station, the contracted public-consultation company, will review the input gathered—from the public meetings and survey—and produce a report for the Division to review. A final decision on how best to address James Mowat’s enrolment pressures is expected in November. Before making a decision, the Board will review all the information and feedback gathered throughout the public consultations.
