Thank you to everyone who attended the public engagement session June 20. As you’re aware, Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) is consulting with the school community about possibly redesignating junior high students, living in Summerwood, Summerwood North and Lakeland Village, to Clover Bar Junior High—for regular EIPS programming, grades 7 to 9.

In the fall, the Division will host a second public engagement session about the junior high designation for students living in northeast Sherwood Park. The meeting will provide attendees with the recommendations the Division plans to put forward to the EIPS Board of Trustees—based on your input from the public engagement session and survey. EIPS will provide more information about the meeting and location closer to the date.
