Thank you to everyone who attended the public engagement session last night. As you’re aware, Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) is consulting with the school community about possibly redesignating junior high students, living in Summerwood, Summerwood North and Lakeland Village, to Clover Bar Junior High—for regular EIPS programming, grades 7 to 9. 

If you couldn’t attend the public engagement session in person, that’s OK. You can still provide your feedback about the proposed changes. An online survey is available for you to share your thoughts.

In the fall, the Division will host a second public engagement session about the junior high designation for students living in northeast Sherwood Park. The meeting will provide attendees with the recommendations the Division plans to put forward to the EIPS Board of Trustees—based on your input from the public engagement session and survey. EIPS will provide more information about the meeting and location closer to the date.
