In 2025-26, Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) will be expanding its Collegiate Pathways programming to provide more opportunities for more students across the Division. Collegiate Pathways is a career-focused education program designed to provide students with real-world skills and post-secondary opportunities while still in high school. Through hands-on learning, industry partnerships and dual-credit options, students gain valuable experience, certifications and a competitive edge for their future careers.
While Collegiate Pathways programs are only open to Grade 12 or returning Grade 12 students, students entering Grade 10 or Grade 11 in the coming year can begin course planning as needed to ensure they have the timetable space necessary in Grade 12 for any Collegiate Pathways they’re interested in pursuing.
To assist your child in course planning for Grade 10 or 11 next year, refer to the Collegiate Pathways information on the Division website, as well as the Collegiate Pathways brochure.
As the Division plans for the programming options that will be available in the coming years, it’s also helpful to know the options students are interested in. Let us know the career areas your child is interested in and stay up to date on programming details, upcoming information sessions and the formal application process by completing the Collegiate Programming Student Engagement Form.
