Introduction

Our Way to Go Blue Jay positive referral recognizes students for their positive choices focusing on being Kind, being Safe, and being Responsible.  Our Citizenship Program promotes and supports the Safe and Caring Schools concept in the following ways: weekly circle time, Way to Go Blue Jay positive referrals, and citizenship projects.

We also recognize our students’ academic achievements through our Jay Achievement Award which focuses on academic excellence, academic growth, and academic effort.

Our school counsellor is in our school Monday to Friday afternoons.  She helps to support students and teachers as they work with our students.

A number of extracurricular activities and theme days are available to students throughout the school year.

Our mission as a learning community is to provide our students with the tools that will enable them to be Successful.  We do this to recognize individual learning styles and equip students with the best strategies to Learn.  We do this so that all our students achieve the skills and knowledge necessary to be Lifelong Learners.
