Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) has once again partnered with the United Way for the 2024-25 Tools for School campaign. Annually, Tools for School provides backpacks and school supplies to students in kindergarten through Grade 12 whose families have limited resources. While the school supplies included may not exactly match your school's supply list, they're a great start.
Requesting Support
If you’re a parent, or know a parent, who needs access to the program, we're here to help. We'll respectfully distribute the backpack to your child at the beginning of the 2024-25 school year. Contact your child's school to inquire about available backpacks and supplies.
Throughout the summer, call 780-464-3477 or 1-800-905-3477 to inquire about available supplies.
Making a Donation
It’s easy. EIPS is also collecting donations of new, unopened supplies. Simply pick up a few extra supplies when you’re out shopping for back to school this summer. Then, drop them off at EIPS Central Services.
The United Way also accepts monetary donations, and donors can designate the funds directly to the Tools for School program.
For more information about the EIPS Tools for School program, contact Communication Services through the online contact form or call 780-464-3477 or toll free at 1-800-905-3477.
EIPS Central Services is located at 683 Wye Rd. in Sherwood Park.
