Alberta Education is once again conducting its annual survey of students and their parents or guardians. The survey will gather important information about students’ and parents’ school experiences and will help to inform continuous improvement. Your input supports improvements in the provincial education system. Complete the survey by March 21, 2025.
Parents/guardians can access the online survey through a computer, smart phone or tablet and use the random-access code provided by their child's school. The random access code does not and cannot be used to identify individual respondents. The random-access code associates your response to the school authority, Elk Island Public Schools. All data collected will be managed in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
The survey is intended for parents of students in grades 4, 7 and 10. In some schools, all parents of students in Grade 4 and above will be surveyed. If you have more than one student in the grades being surveyed, you’ll receive a survey package and separate random access code for each student.
Requesting a paper survey: If you prefer to complete the survey on paper, contact the school or Alberta Education’s System Assurance Branch at EDC.SystemAssurance@gov.ab.ca, or 780-643-9193 (toll-free access within Alberta by dialing 310-0000 first).
