Sherwood Park, AB. — Students and their family members from around the region are invited to attend the upcoming spring session of Your Future: Post-Secondary and Career Fair on March 10. The hybrid in-person and virtual event is free and open to students in grades 9 through 12.
Your Future is a post-secondary and career fair that brings together a wide variety of universities, colleges, polytechnics, private schools and sector experts in one place. Throughout the evening, participating students and family members—attending both the in-person and virtual sessions—can meet with representatives from some of the top post-secondary institutions in Canada, ask questions, talk to experts from various career sectors, learn about career trends and much more.
“One of the goals of Elk Island Public Schools is a focus on success for every student, in particular, ensuring more students are supported and prepared for life beyond high school,” says Barclay Spady, a Career Pathways Consultant at EIPS. “Providing opportunities for students to explore authentic, relevant and engaging post-secondary and career options is key to fostering growth and readiness for life after school.”
