Sherwood Park, AB. — The Career Pathways team at Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) is hosting a Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) and Collegiate Pathways information session on April 22 and 29. All students in grades 9-12 and their families are invited to attend one of these sessions to learn more about the programs.

  • RAP: Participants will learn how the program works, gain insight about new opportunities in the trades—particularly for women—and hear real-life stories from current and past RAP students.
  • Collegiate Pathways: A career-focused education program—part of the new Campus EIPS—designed to provide students with real-world skills and post-secondary opportunities while still in high school. Through hands-on learning, industry partnerships and dual-credit options, students gain valuable experience, certifications and a competitive edge for their future careers. Collegiate Pathways programs are open to incoming Grade 12 or returning Grade 12 students this fall.
