Dear Elk Island Public Schools families, 

New and returning student registration for the 2024-25 school year will take place in February. To help families prepare and make informed decisions during the registration process, Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) has put together a Guide to Registration 2024-25. The guide includes information about schools, programs, key dates and information session details planned throughout the registration season.  

Key Registration Dates 

• February 1 at 9 a.m. 
  New student registration opens—including kindergarten registration 
• February 8-21 
  Returning student registration will open at 9 a.m. on February 8  

Learn more about EIPS alternative programs 
The Division offers a variety of alternative programs in kindergarten to Grade 12. Many programs will host information sessions in the coming months for interested families—new and returning—to learn more about the program details.

Planning for senior high? 
To help grades 8 and 9 families make an informed decision about senior high, EIPS is hosting a Division high school information night:  

• January 15 | 6 -7:30 p.m. 
  The Park Church, 1 Brower Dr., Sherwood Park  

Each senior high school also hosts an open house for current Grade 9 students and their families to learn about programs, courses, career paths and more. 

• Ardrossan Junior Senior High – February 13 at 6-7:30 p.m. 
• Bev Facey Community High – February 13 at 6-8 p.m. 
• Fort Saskatchewan High – February 15 at 6-7:30 p.m.
